Writer/Editor —International Development/ Humanitarian topics
The Joint Learning Initiative on Faith and Local Communities (JLI) is an international collaboration and knowledge platform on evidence for faith groups’ activities and contributions to local development and humanitarian challenges.
JLI is recruiting a freelance writer-/editor with experience in international development, humanitarian or relevant subject area, and an interest in the role of faith and religion.
Must be skilled in writing for various audiences in the field, including policymakers and practitioners, and experienced in translation from technical and academic texts to documents for more general audiences.
The writer/editor will work with JLI team members to prepare a variety of documents including possibly: papers; advocacy briefs; toolkits; news summaries; social media outputs; — all relating to the growing body of evidence compiled and curated by JLI.
Work load: up to 30 hours per month for six months.
